This Privacy Policy governs the privacy practices with respect to your use of the website www.keyds.com (hereinafter: "the Site") and the software offered for download therein (hereinafter: "the Software").
Description of the information we collect
Anonymous information
When you visit the Site, we collect the following information:
The URL of the web page which you arrived from
The IP address of your computer is recorded by the web server (as done by any standard web server)
Personally identifiable information
When you choose to download the Software, you are requested to provide your e-mail address, so that we may be able to send you by e-mail a license key which is required to activate the Software.
In addition, when you purchase the Software, you are directed to make the payment through Paypal. The collection and use of the information (including credit card information) you provide to Paypal is governed by the applicable Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Paypal, as available on Paypal's website www.paypal.com. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not receive any of the financial information (such as credit card details, etc.) you provide to Paypal.
What we do with the information we collect
The anonymous information collected on the Site is used for the purpose of operating the Site and improvements thereof.
If you provide your e-mail address as described above, we will use it solely for the purpose of sending you by e-mail a license key which is required to activate the Software. We will not use the e-mail address you provided us for any other purpose.
Information sharing practices
We do not share any information we collect (including your personal e-mail address) with third parties, unless (a) you authorized us to do so; or (b) we believe in good faith that the disclosure of the information is required by any applicable law, regulation, court order, legal proceedings or governmental demand; or (c) it is required to handle security breach or fraud investigations. For the avoidance of doubt, and as detailed in the Keyds.com Terms of Use, we are not related to Microsoft Corporation (the copyright owner of Internet Explorer) and do not share with it any information collected from you. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Software. By accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use presented to you before downloading the Software, you represent that you are over 18 years old. We will not knowingly collect personal information from a user who is younger than 13 years old and, if we have reason to believe that you are younger than 13 years old, we will delete your information from our servers.
Removal of the Software from your computer
If you choose to uninstall the Software from your computer, go to the Windows Control Panel add/remove function and remove the "Keyds.com" entry. If you encounter problems with removing the Software, you are welcome to contact us at support@keyds.com.
Information security
We store and process your personal information (i.e. the e-mail address you provide to us) on our servers in Israel. We protect it by undertaking appropriate security measures and allow access to it only to those of our employees who need to have access to this information in order to perform their duties.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Site.
In the event that Keyds.com sells substantially all of its assets or is acquired, the Software and Site and all information you provide to us will be transferred to the acquiring party. In such case, the information you provide would remain subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy applicable to the Site and the Software at the time it was collected.
